Cette exposition originale
regroupe deux corpus artistiques bien distincts, qui bien que conçus en des
territoires différents, et dans des temps similaires (2008 et 2010), prennent
tous deux leurs racines dans une observation documentaire de la réalité
actuelle.
Les réunir dans un même espace engendre naturellement, sans discours annexé,
un choc visuel créateur d’ interrogations sur les méfaits et bienfaits de
l’hypercapitalisme mondial. Deux visions se rencontrent, se confrontent, deux
mondes à des milliers de kilomètres l’un de l’autre et pourtant si proches :
la virtualité de la finance des traders londoniens de Jan Stradrmann marchant
de consoeur avec la modernisation des habitats traditionnels de la communauté
des Ouighours observée par Edith Roux
Ce mécanisme de synchronicité ou d’association libre nous devenant si
familier, pourtant à n’en pas croire nos yeux!

This exhibition
gathers together two distinct artistic corpus, which although designed in
different territories, and in similar time (2008 and 2010), are both rooted
in a documentary observation of the current reality.
Diplaying them together in the same space leads naturally a visual shock,
that involves questions about the harms and benefits of the hypercapitalism
of the world. Two visions meet together, confront each other, two worlds
thousands of miles from each other and yet so close : the virtuality of
London financial traders of Jan Stradtmann walking hand in hand with the
modernization of traditional habitats of the Uighurs's community observed by
Edith Roux
This mechanism of synchronicity or free association that becomes so familiar,
yet do not believe in our eyes!
